The idea is to pack really light. Unless you are going to attend a very formal function, bring these basic items:
1. Compact powder - it can be applied with a wet sponge, or just pat on dry. I recommend just bring one sponge to apply the powder dry.
2. Eyeshadow that matches the color of your hair - to color your brows and to draw an eyeliner with. A flat eyeliner brush may be used to not only draw eyeliner, but it may be used to fill in the brows as well.
3. Concealer - only if you have trouble spots. If not, work with the compact powder.
4. Blush or bronzer, for the cheeks. For some people these may be used as an eyeshadow as well. Be careful if you do - make sure they do not make the eyes swollen looking. Bring the blush brush.
5. Lipstick - only one. Apply lightly for day time, more layers for night time.
6. Lip balm, face cream, make up remover.
