Recent years there is a craze for sparkling, white teeth. Some people suit it, some people don't. Why? Because depending on your particulary overall natural color, a very pure white may or may not be for you.
I met someone for dinner yesterday, and when the personal smiled, I can't help notice the very white, white teeth. The overall natural color of the person is warm, so the pure white (which belongs to the cool color palettes) does not match. All I saw were the teeth. It was strange.
So, the quick tips are as follows:
If you belong to the warm season, such as spring or autumn (as identified by your image consultant who has done color analysis on you), a creamier white is better than a pure white. Creamier white has a little bit of yellow in there, but not enough yellow to make your teeth appear "dirtily" yellow. People who are warm in their natural colors have warm brown/green eyes, warm brown/red/blond hair.
If you belong to winter, you may wear pure white.Winter people have near black or black hair, and very cool black/dark brown/piercing blue eyes.
If you belong to summer, wear ivory (off white that is slightly dull). Summer people have grey/blue/brown eyes, ash brown/blond hair.
Last but not least, if you see someone smiling and all you see are their teeth, most likely their teeth's color is off.
