For women, white suits have been "in" since last year at spring time. This year, it's no exception. However, it is also "in" for a man to wear a white suit now! It is a clean, bright and fresh look for the warmer seasons.

A white suit is more casual than a dark suit, simply because of its color - it speaks of spring, easy going. It doesn't give out the same serious tone as a dark suit. So, if you are going to a formal business meeting, do go in a dark suit.
Tip: if your work does not require you to wear a suit, just wear a beige or white blazer. It gives you a professional edge over a casual outfit. A white suit is in, but there are different degrees of "whiteness". Some may go for beige, or stone, or khaki (no longer white). The message is, it's spring, and it's time to lighten up.
