Creating and maintaining the right personal image for you and your company

This is my 3rd image blog created in just a matter of a few months. The purpose of having a blog is to share information with an audience as large as possible - within the right target market, in this case, business people who care about the messages they project to others. I have partnered up with KMM, the creator of this blog platform, so that the messages can reach a larger audience. This is the power of delegation: when someone can do the PR and spread the word for me, why not? Owning a business doesn't necessarily mean having to do eveything. It means doing the best at what I do - which is image consulting, training and writing, and leave the rest to others.

Now, onto the topic of image. Most people associate image with fashion and self expression. However, image is not just about that. It's about how to use fashion as part of the image tool kit. It's about how a person makes use of dressing, grooming and communication skills to build rapport with others, to achieve their business and life goals. There are many fashion magazines and makeover shows that talk about image transformation using clothing.

Here, I will do some of that, but I will also draw inspirations experienced in real life, and how lessons can be drawn from them to apply to image management. The next entry will be an example of this. So, readers old and new, welcome, and enjoy the entries!
